Teacher’s Day was celebrated at Kohinoor International School with great enthusiasm. Although virtually, team KIS ensured that this special day was one to remember for years to come. As a token of love and appreciation, each staff member was gifted a personalised coffee mug which was couriered to them beforehand. On the day of the event, the teachers dressed in their best with party wear, headgear and lots of pizazz. The celebrations began with a surprise pre-recorded enactment by the principal, Mrs. Deepali Nene and Kohinoor Blossoms In Charge, Mrs. Karishma Rohera. This was followed by a hilarious and invigorating attendance session, where in one of our teachers enacted and mimicked along with mind-tingling cues and quizzes which represented each teacher. Kohinoor Blossoms co-ordinator, Mrs. Manisha Agarwal recited a heart-warming poem penned by her thereafter. Some teachers teamed up to present a dance session to which all the teachers grooved to toe-tapping music. The likes of Daya ben and Jetha bhai entertained one and all with their quirky and funny ways relating to humorous situations encountered by teachers while teaching online. The celebration concluded with a video dedicated to all our unsung heroes – our teachers, who truly deserve to be appreciated.
